BRIAN A. SIDMAN

Principal, Founder

Brian A. Sidman is the founder of BAS Holdings Investments, LLC (“BAS Holdings”), a real estate advisory firm headquartered in Miami, Florida.  BAS Holdings and its affiliated companies specialize in workforce housing developments, large tract land acquisitions encompassing mineral rights, land tracts with development opportunities, tax deferral real estate transactions and parking garage/lot investments. 

Sidman formerly served as Executive Vice President for a sponsor of a REIT which comprised of office and self-storage assets where under Sidman’s leadership, he converted the REIT to the only pure play Parking Garage/Lot REIT in the US.  Previously, Sidman served as Senior Vice President for a Sponsor of a REIT focused on acquiring grocery anchored Shopping Centers across the US.  In this executive role, Sidman assisted in accumulating over a quarter-billion dollars of properties in the REIT and more than one-hundred million dollars of Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) product acquiring multi-family/retail/industrial/office assets. 

Sidman is a Co-Founder and Principal at METIS Innovative, a venture capital firm focused on investments in early stage Neuroscience medical device and technology companies.  Sidman is a Co-Founder of WONDER Kids, Inc. a non-profit benefiting youth educational progress through the use of innovative curriculum. Sidman is a board member of BundleFi, Inc. a financial technology start-up, a former board member of a charitable foundation that donated over $16 million to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and former board member of Lux Home, Inc. DBA Pella Windows and Doors NJ/NY.  Additionally, Sidman is a society member at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach.

JEREMY BEN-DAVID

Principal, General counsel

Jeremy Ben-David is an experienced corporate and real estate transactional attorney, and has represented companies of all sizes, ranging from start-ups to large multi-national companies, through all aspects of a business’ life cycle, starting with formation, through growth, and ending in liquidity events and exits.  In 2016, Jeremy co-founded AXS Law Group, PLLC; a full-service boutique law firm located in Wynwood, FL.

Jeremy’s corporate practice includes business formation; mergers and acquisitions; securities offerings; legal due diligence; venture capital investments and financings, and joint ventures and strategic alliances.  Jeremy’s real estate practice includes representing buyers and sellers in all aspects of a wide breadth of real estate purchase and sale transactions, and landlord and tenants in commercial real estate leasing.

Jeremy is also an experienced real estate deal-maker.  During his tenure as Acquisitions Manager at Alterra Capital Group, he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and repositioning undervalued and distressed multifamily properties throughout the Southeast and was a critical part in the acquisition of $150 million in assets. Jeremy also led the growth, development, and sale of a vacation rental home company in 2015.

In addition to his professional experience, Jeremy is an active member in the professional community and in volunteer organizations. He is a Network Board Member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation; is a committee chair for Jewish Volunteer Services; and is a Board Member of WONDER Kids, Inc. - a non-profit benefiting youth educational progress through the use of innovative curriculum. Jeremy also is an active supporter of the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind. In 2012 Jeremy became a Starting Bloc Fellow; international fellowship program comprised of 1900 Fellows across 55 countries, whose mission is to drive social innovation across sectors.

Jeremy graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 2001.  He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006, where he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and was previously an attorney at Bilzin Sumberg and corporate counsel at Bayview Asset Management, LLC.


ALEXANDRA MESA

marketing, investor relations

Alexandra joined BAS Holdings in March 2018 as the Head of Marketing and Investor Relations. Prior to her position at BAS Holdings, Alexandra spent 5 years working in marketing for real estate and hospitality firms. 

In addition to leading the strategic planning, direction and execution of the Marketing and Investor Relations functions at BAS Holdings, Alexandra’s role is to ensure that the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with investors and shareholders.  Alexandra graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing.
